Privacy notice.

This notice explains how Future Literacy Group processes personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

01Who is responsible

Future Literacy Group is the data controller for the personal data described here. For any privacy matter, write to contact@futureliteracy.eu.

02What we collect

Contact enquiries. Name, organisation, email address and the content of your message when you use our contact form or write to us.

Editorial accounts. For the small number of people with access to our editorial studio: email address, authentication identifiers and content they publish.

Technical data. Server logs generated when a page is requested (IP address, timestamp, user agent), kept for security and reliability purposes only.

We do not knowingly collect special-category data, and we do not profile visitors.

03Why we process it and on what basis

To respond to enquiries and to explore possible engagements — legitimate interest, or performance of a contract where an engagement follows.

To operate and secure the website — legitimate interest.

To send occasional insights where you have asked for them, and to set any non-essential cookies — your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations — legal obligation.

04Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We use a small number of processors acting on our instructions under data processing agreements: our hosting and content delivery provider, our database and authentication provider, and our email provider. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

05How long we keep it

Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last exchange, unless an engagement makes a longer period necessary. Editorial accounts: for as long as access is required. Server logs: up to 12 months. Records required by law are kept for the statutory period.

06Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to rectify it, to erase it, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Write to contact@futureliteracy.eu and we will respond within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
